A wheelchair user was asked to make room in a bus wheelchair priority space – for a plastic doll. James Lee, 29, who has muscular dystrophy, was already running late for work last Friday, after an earlier bus already had two pushchairs on board. The consultant, who is also a campaigner with Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Trailblazers, eventually managed to board a bus in Walthamstow, north east London.
